Film Review

He doesn't really have a hook. If there is one you can't tell or it isn't a good one.

He gives background about the guy who invented facebook. He talks about the film mostly.

He doesn't discuss the film techniques at all.

Screwball Comedy

In the mid-1930s a new film genre, screwball comedy, arose in American cinema. Based upon the old "boy-meets-girl" formula turned topsy-turvy, it generally presented the eccentric, female-dominated courtship of an upper-class couple.

For/Against MPAA

I am against the MPAA because I don't think all those rules are really needed. The ratings are fine. I think the rating of the movies is good. But not making a movie because of certain things I don't think is equal.

Hollywood Censorship

The set of industry censorship guidelines that governed the production of the vast majority of United States motion pictures released by major studios from 1930 to 1968.

1. No picture shall be produced that will lower the moral standards of those who see it. Hence, the sympathy of the audience should never be thrown to the side of crime, wrongdoing, evil or sin.
2. Correct standards of life, subject only to the requirements of drama and entertainment, shall be presented.
3. Law, natural or human, shall not be ridiculed, nor shall sympathy be created for its violation.

So it wouldn't get out of control. There always needs to be some sort of boundary so people don't do things that shouldn't be done. It is just to keep it under control and stable.

It is still censored but not a strict. Movies are rated for certain age groups.
